Casually looking at houses during one of my weekend jaunts, I found the house in Olivebridge, NY. A small cabin in the middle of the Catskill Mountains. I gutted it, reworked the layout, put in all new... everything! The rest is history.

I have my Ph.D. from Goldsmiths, University of London, and my MFA from the Art Institute of Chicago. I have taught at Bard College, University of the Arts in Philadelphia, American Dance Festival at Duke University, and ImPulsTanz Festival in Vienna.

When she's not submerged in spreadsheets, Tara loves to hike, tinker around the house, and spoil her two dogs and two cats.
